Help with job search
We see people by appointment for advice and guidance on searching for new employment, whether unemployed or threatened with redundancy.
We can also put you in touch with other organisations offering specialist support, voluntary work, or training.

What have we been doing?
In September and October 2010, 63 of our appointments included some work, or all work on CV's.  33 appointments focussed on job search.  29 appointments were spent looking into options for training.  24 appointments focused on career related topics, 18 on interview practice and 12 on voluntary work.
9 clients have either secured jobs, or are waiting to start work, and a number of clients have started training or voluntary work. 

The Team
Our Careers Advisers are professional, qualified careers consultants.  They are skilled at supporting individuals in interview skills, CV writing, identification of skills, job search techniques, providing help when going through redundancy, providing help when considering a career change, providing help when returning to the workforce.
